This video introduces the facial contouring surgery process for a patient with thin skin. When the skin is thin, smoothing the bone is significantly more challenging, and even minor irregularities can easily become visible, requiring delicate surgical techniques. The patient previously had only the outer cortical bone resected, which left the jawline still appearing wide. There was also a need to improve an asymmetrical jawline and prominent cheekbones. The surgery involved moving the cheekbones inward to align with the eye bone line, and simultaneously resecting both the outer and inner cortical bone to create a jawline that drops straight down without a curve. Following the successful surgery, the patient experienced positive changes, looking much younger and having a softer impression.
