This video compares the before and after of a patient concerned with a long midface and cheekbone asymmetry. Pre-operative CT scans showed a very long midface that extended deep inward, indicating a high surgical difficulty. Significant cheekbone asymmetry was also observed. The medical team committed to achieving the best possible results.
Post-operative CT scans confirm that the midface length was reduced by more than one-third. Viewed from below, the previously long midface was visibly shortened. After surgery, the patient received education on preventing inflammation. Specifically, they were instructed on how to clear the blocked passage connected to the nose to ensure proper drainage of accumulated blood and to manage it carefully to prevent re-blockage. Through this, the patient achieved a smaller, more balanced facial contour.
