Midface reduction revision: reducing a face with bone holes by over 10mm

This video shows a CT scan comparison before and after midface reduction surgery performed as a revision procedure. The patient had previously undergone two bone-shaving surgeries, resulting in holes in the bone, making the revision surgery extremely challenging. The medical team explained that both sides of the midface needed to be reduced by more than 10mm, noting that too much bone had been removed in the previous surgeries. One week after the surgery, the patient's face was noticeably smaller, and the CT scan confirmed that the midface had been shortened by more than 10mm.
