This video presents a reoperation case of a patient who suffered from severe asymmetry and an excessive number of fixation pins after a previous cheekbone surgery. A staggering 20 fixation pins were used in the patient's cheekbones, and these pins were located very close to the eye area, making their removal extremely challenging. Additionally, there were complex issues such as gaps between the bones, severe facial asymmetry, and a misaligned jaw. The medical team safely removed all existing pins and perfectly improved the bone gaps using only four fixation pins. As a result, the elongated midface was reduced by one-third, and the asymmetry was effectively corrected, concluding in a successful surgery.
