Zygoma Revision: Correcting Bone Non-Union and Asymmetry, a Third Operation

This video covers a highly complex zygoma revision surgery case. The patient had undergone two previous surgeries in China and Korea, resulting in 36 fixation pins, extensive bone non-union (bone gaps), and severe facial asymmetry. 3D CT scans clearly showed the separated bone fragments and the extent of the asymmetry. The bone non-union in the left zygoma was particularly severe. Despite the high difficulty of a third revision surgery, the medical team successfully resolved these issues. Post-surgery, the patient's zygoma was significantly reduced to no longer protrude beyond the eye bone, and the previously separated bone segments achieved perfect union, demonstrating remarkable reconstructive results.
