This patient experienced a 'step deformity' and severe asymmetry due to issues with fixation pins after previous cheekbone surgery. Removing the existing pins was difficult, necessitating a complex revision surgery to secure new pins while keeping the old ones in place. Post-operative CT results showed that the protruding cheekbone area was effectively reduced inwards towards the skull, resolving the step deformity and improving the overall facial contour. The reduction effect remains the same even without removing the pins.
